Bangladesh National Agricultural Mechanization Project Launched: Foreign Harvester Access Standards & Customs Clearance Guidelines
LOVOLBangladesh

Bangladesh’s official national agricultural mechanization project is fully implemented to boost grain productivity and modernize local farming. All imported foreign combine harvesters must comply with unified market access and customs clearance regulations to enter the local market legally and obtain project qualification.

Core Market Access Standards: All machines require mandatory BSTI certification and meet local 220V/50Hz power and emission standards. Harvesters must pass field tests organized by agricultural authorities on grain loss rate, impurity rate and muddy field passability. All imports adopt HS Code 84335100 for standardized customs declaration.

Standard Clearance Documents & Process: Importers need LCA permit, IRC/BIN certificate, BSTI conformity certificate, bill of lading and test reports. After electronic pre-declaration, customs inspection and tax payment, goods can be released from Chattogram and Mongla ports.

Our team provides full-set compliant certification documents, standard customs materials and professional clearance guidance. We help local partners avoid detention and delay, with long-term spare parts supply and technical training to support stable machine operation.
