Mr. Rashed, a large rice grower in Netrokona Haor wetland zone, has long been plagued by seasonal flooding and sticky muddy farmland. Before purchasing the Lovol crawler tractor, he relied on cattle ploughing and manual farming: tillage efficiency was extremely low, and tractors from other brands often got stuck in waterlogged fields during Aman rice season, leading to delayed sowing and huge grain losses every year.
In 2024, he bought a Lovol customized crawler tractor under Bangladesh’s national agricultural mechanization subsidy policy. The widened anti-sink chassis perfectly adapts to Haor’s soft mud and seasonal ponding land. It can complete ploughing, harrowing, puddling and transportation in one go, greatly shortening the land preparation cycle before rainy seasons.

With reliable power and strong passing performance, Mr. Rashed finished pre-flood field preparation 10 days earlier than previous years. His rice yield per hectare rose from 6 tons to nearly 9.5 tons, and he started providing tractor rental services for surrounding 28 smallholder families, gaining extra stable income every harvest season.
“The Lovol tractor never traps in mud even after heavy rains. It is the most reliable partner for us Haor farmers to fight flood risks and secure food output.”
